No sound in Google Chrome is a very common issue that annoys users all the time. Here is what you have to do when you experience the error. Note that if audio is playing on other applications or devices but not on the browser, you have to check the audio settings on your computer first.
Perhaps only Google Chrome’s sound setting is disabled, so check for it.

To ensure in case it is an extension causing the issue, open Google Chrome in Incognito mode. For that, click on the three-dot icon on the upper right side and select New incognito window.
